  • Product Description
    Protexx-Shield® 7015 is a thin, flexible thermal and flame barrier specifically designed as anti-propagation protection within EV battery pack. Product is comprised of multiple layers of an engineered composite structure. Protexx-Shield 7015 acts as a flame barrier, low level blast barrier, medium level of thermal insulation and provides electrical insulation. Protexx-Shield 7015 is compatible with pressure sensitive adhesive to allow for direct application onto a variety of surfaces.

    Protexx-Shield 7015's dual layer structure provides extra level of protection in harsh environments. The material consist of two identical layers comprised of flame barrier via a specialty coating and a silica fabric structure for strength and insulation properties to limit propagation and failures due to a thermal runaway event. The two layers are stitched together to provide extra protection.
