  • Product Description
    TwistTube® 2439 is a high temperature, lightweight woven sleeve designed to provide mechanical protection for cable assemblies, hoses and wire harnesses. It incorporates a unique self-wrapping closure that allows for quick and easy installation. It also allows for breakouts and can be installed over complete assemblies. The overwrapping design of the product allows it to maintain a circular profile when flexed.

    TwistTube 2439 is woven with PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) monofilaments and is designed to provide mechanical protection in environments up to +200°C (+392ºF). TwistTube 2439’s PPS construction results in outstanding property retention in extreme environments and is one of the few materials able to withstand long term exposure to the new generation of automatic transmission fluids.

    Max diameter is defined as a nominal 90° sleeve overwrap. A variety of application-based variables will dictate the appropriate sleeve size for use on each harness. Proper sleeve sizing is at the discretion of the end user.

    A reduced overlap could be acceptable in certain applications allowing for a larger max diameter harness. Please consult your local sales representative for recommendations and guidance.
