  • Product Description
    FyreJacket® HL LTE is an open thickwall braided fiberglass sleeving coated with a specially compounded, flame retardant silicone rubber with an additional thermal endurant layer. FyreJacket HL LTE can be easily installed on cables and hoses and closes thanks to the textile hook and loop structure.

    We advise our customers to secure the closure with NT-40 tape for repeated exposure at elevated temperatures and securization of the closure in case of fire exposure.

    FyreJacket HL LTE offers an effective protection against sustained high temperatures, flames and molten metal splashes that can seriously damage electrical cables and hydraulic, gas and lubricant supply lines. Thanks to its unique construction, FyreJacket HL LTE prevents the absorption of dust and water through the aperture.

    The construction of FyreJacket HL LTE ensures fire protection up to +830°C (1526°F) and provides thermal protection against internal and external hazards in a variety of industries.

    For enhanced fire resistance to reach 15 minutes at +1100°C, an additional layer of ROUNDIT
    ® 2000NX HT can be added on top.

    To facilitate installation, localize the protection and seal the ends, unsupported self-amalgamating tapes can be used. They provide a nice fit on the application, avoid water ingress from splashes and prevent the ends from fraying through ageing on the application.
